Vicenza lies in the green Venetian lowlands, surrounded by the Berici Hills, at the confluence of the River Retrone and the River Bacchiglione. The town of Vicenza is known all over the world as "the town of Palladio". It is famous for its art, refined architecture, harmony of forms and proportions.
